Emma Thompson: The Love Actually star revealed on Norwegian/Swedish talk show Skavlan last week that that while she was newly divorced and filming the 1998 movie Primary Colors, inspired by Bill Clinton’s run for the White House, she got a phone call in her trailer from Donald Trump, offering her accommodation at a Trump property – and dinner. “ I think we would get on very well,” she said Trump told her. Thompson joked that while she declined to take Trump up on his offer, she wishes she hadn’t, saying, “Think of the stories.” SHE DEFINITELY DODGED A BULLET !
